Do you have a loyalty programme?

What sort of rewards do you offer?
We offer free coffees, $10 vouchers, free salads and more. A full list is available once you join. You can choose what to redeem your points for and when?
How do I earn points?
For every $1 spent = 1 point
Do my rewards expire?
Yes they do, depending on the reward you have 1- 6 months to use it.
Why didn't I get my Birthday gift?
- You were not registered in the system for a minimum of one month prior to your Birthday
- You do not subscribe to our email marketing. The reward is email based and is triggered automatically if you subscribe. If you don't subscribe it won't trigger and we cannot add it in manually.
If I use both a reusable cup and container do I get double the bonus points?
Yes, you absolutely do.
Why didn't I receive the bonus points for using a reusable cup or container?
There are two reasons.
- You need to subscribe to email marketing to gain the bonus points, it's the only way you go into the 'flow' and will receive the bonus points on your account.
- The correct button wasn't pushed when you were in-store, please email hello@longislanddeli.co.nz if this was the case

Do you have a menu?
No, we offer cabinet food only
What sort of food do you offer?
Every day is different at Long Island. We have a huge Salad Bar, proteins to accompany (meat and vege), sandwiches, sweet treats, breakfast items, club sandwiches and pastries. Plus we will also have a daily changing special that is prepared to order. Click here to read more about our food.
How do you heat your food?
We have a high speed Merry Chef over(like subway) that heats dishes in super quick times and keep bread and pastry crispy/toasted and not soggy
Do you use Free Range?
We absolutely do. One of our company Values is to be Sustainable and Ethical. Free Range meat and eggs will always be used in our Kitchen.

Do you have any daily specials?
Yes, every morning we offer a daily breakfast special for $15. That includes a breakfast dish and a regular coffee.
DRINKS
Do you make coffee?
Absolutely! We use Havana Coffee from Wellington.
We love Havana as their vision to provide Coffeeufeel whilst having fun. They Source the highest quality beautiful coffee beans, ethically grown and directly traded from countries of origin.
Do you have any other Hot drinks?
Yes, we have the West Coast Cocoa Range of Hot Chocolates and Chai. We chose West Coast Cocoa as they are committed to fair and ethical trade and source their West African cocoa through the UTZ Certified Cocoa Programme. This fits perfectly within our company values.
Do you have any other drinks?
Yes we have a range of smoothies, sodas, floats, iced drinks and bottled drinks.
Are you licensed?
No sorry we are not

Can I pre-order?
Absolutely! Please phone us on (06) 870 3670 to place an order.
Do you Deliver?
No sorry we don’t at this stage.
Can I just call in?
Of course you can, pre -ordering is not required just on offer if you are in a hurry.
PACKAGING
Why is everything packaged in Takeaway containers?
We only have a Takeaway Food License
What sort of packaging do you use?
We have sourced a range of never leak packaging that is both home and commercially compostable and also recyclable. All other packaging will be a combination of both and will be sourced from eco friendly companies.

Where do I eat my food?
We have a few window seats inside as well as some tables outside. We also encourage you to use the beautiful booth seating in the bricked laneway between the Municipal Building and the Opera House. If you prefer the fresh air, there is a fabulous green space next door to Funbuns.
Where do I park?
There is parking right our front including a disabled park. But if they are full then head to the HDC Carpark directly across the road (where the old Briscoes used to be) or go one block away on Hastings Street (towards Southampton) and there is 60 minute FREE parking available.
Do you have any Deli Goods?
Yes we have a range of boutique products available for you to take home
